Mental Health Awareness
This has been a very hard year for many. From the deaths due to the pandemic to inexplicable murders by those hired to protect and serve; our families have been impacted in unprecedented ways! These challenges have led to self and social isolation, disconnection from family and friends, quarantine and lockdowns on movement resulting in more people than ever experiencing feelings of helplessness, isolation, grief, anxiety and depression. Demand for health support services has increased exponentially as a result.
The MOTIVATED Mu Beta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. invites the general public (men, women, and children) to join us for a virtual "Nurture Your Emotional Health" discussion facilitated by LCSW & Psychotherapist LaKeisha Brown-Moore. Mrs. Brown-Moore is the Owner and Clinical Director of Guiding Hearts, LLC. Mrs. Brown-Moore will share self-care tips on coping during these unprecedented times.
